Our chief scientist is from South Africa and he was recently approved for a National Interest Waiver visa from the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). This process took two years and ultimately, USCIS decided that having our Chief Scientist here in the US was in the national interest of the United States. This is great news and will allow our scientists to remain in the US and become permanent residents.
